SHELLIE BLANKS CIMAROSTI
Shellie Blanks Cimarosti, is not only the daughter of Billy Blanks, but has been at his right side since the inception of Tae Bo Fitness. Her knowledge, dedication, and guidance has been an asset for the continued growth of this intoxicating fitness regimen. She was brought up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and at the age of 14, she moved to Los Angeles with her parents.
Shellie put in plenty of time working toward her mastery of Martial Arts. Currently, she is in a select club that only a few, hardworking, dedicated women have attained, by acquiring a 6th Degree Black Belt in the Martial Art discipline of Tae Kwon Do. She starred as the original Yellow Power Ranger stunt double. She also modeled in a number of Fitness Magazines, appeared in Tae Bo commercials, and many other TV spots, such as “Oprah”, “Montell Williams” & “The Parkers” hit television shows. Shellie’s training began at the young age of 2 and still continues to this day. She won the Jiu Jitsu World Championships and a Gold Medal at the Junior Olympics for Full Contact Sparring at the age of 14.
Shellie travels internationally training, instructing and demonstrating the world-renowned fitness technique of Tae Bo, which was created by her father, Billy Blanks. One of her greatest joys has been traveling overseas to work with members of the U.S. Armed Forces in places such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Spain, Bosnia, Kosovo, Sarajevo, Greece, Africa, Germany, Italy and many locations throughout the United States.
